Chief Executive Officer
For more than 100 years, Florence Crittenton has pursued its mission to give every girl whose life we touch safety, hope, and opportunity. Today, our vision is to be the national leader in changing the future of girls. We offer a comprehensive continuum of care designed to help at-risk girls from 12 to 21 overcome issues of abuse, neglect, teen pregnancy, teen parenting, and behavioral and/or mental health problems. We also deliver charter school education for students in grades 9-12 as well as community-based services for youth and families.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) serves as the leader of the organization and is its primary public representative, reporting to the Board of Directors. The CEO works in partnership with the Board and the executive leadership of the organization to ensure that the organization fulfills its mission and to create strategies that ensure its future success, financial viability, and leadership as the premiere provider of services to girls at risk. The Board of Directors therefore seeks a Chief Executive Officer who will be a prime mover of the organization’s strategic priorities; who will enthusiastically support and share the vision of Florence Crittenton Services; and who will provide leadership and professional guidance to staff and volunteers.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The CEO must be a business-like, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial manager who shares the mission, vision, and values of Florence Crittenton. (S)he must be a confident leader with a demonstrable record of success in leading organizations to their next level of performance. Candidates must be able to demonstrate integrity, diplomacy, sound judgment and a sense of humor. They must also have the combination of skill sets and empathy required to work closely with Board members, staff, donors, and volunteers in helping them realize their objectives.
